NAHL Announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

April 15, 2024

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending April 14, 2024. Only the Central and Midwest Divisions were represented in this week's selection as they were the only Divisions playing in the Regular Season. Only players that are nominated by their respective teams are considered for the Divisional Players of the Week award.

Central Division Star of the Week: Isak Holmstrom, Forward, Aberdeen Wings

Aberdeen forward Isak Holmstrom was a key contributor to the Wings success, claiming a spot in the Robertson Cup playoffs after picking up back-to-back wins. The Detroit, MI native added three assists and added a goal of his own in the third period on Friday night’s 6-2 win over North Iowa. On Saturday night, Holmstrom dished out another assist as the Wings edged the Bulls by a final of 3-2. Holmstrom has played in 53 games this season and has recorded 30 points. “Isak has been solid for us all year,” Head Coach Scott Langer said. “He is a big power forward that makes plays and can score.
