Maine forward Ramm makes NCAA DIII Commitment

April 3, 2024

The Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Nick Ramm has committed to playing NCAA Division III hockey for the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Ramm, 20, is playing his third season in the NAHL. The Westborough, Massachusetts native has been a pinnacle example of the Ladder of Development beginning in the NAPHL. Ramm joined the Northeast Generals Academy in the 2019-20 season and, in two seasons, recorded 26 points in 23 regular-season games on both the 16U and 18U squads. Over his career, he combined for 7 points (6 goals, 1 assist) in 10 Dixon Cup playoff games.

In the 2020-21 season, Nick got the call-up to join the Northeast Generals in the NA3HL. There, he produced over a point per game, logging 21 points in 15 regular season games and 3 points in the 2021 Fraser Cup playoffs.

His NAHL Debut came the following year with the Generals, and he continued to play with them for 27 games, amassing 9 points (2 goals, 7 assists) in those games. Another full season with the Generals led to his first season this year with the Nordiques, where he currently has 7 goals and 8 assists in 45 games. Ramm also holds a +7 rating.
