The North Iowa Bulls are excited to announce that defenseman Christian Wood has committed to play NCAA DIII College Hockey at Middlebury College, in Middlebury, Vermont.

The Shelton, Connecticut, native joined the North Iowa Bulls in January after starting the season with the North American Hockey League’s New Jersey Titans and has played 38 games in the NAHL this season with 2 goals, 10 assists, and 12 points on his season. Wood played prep school hockey at the Frederick Gunn School before entering the North American Hockey League this year.

Middlebury College is in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and holds eight NCAA DIII Men’s Hockey Championships, the most of any NCAA DIII Men’s Hockey program.

The Bulls want to congratulate Christian and wish him the best as he continues his hockey career in college next season!
