Sunday Wrap Up: Wolverines Clinch Playoff Spot
Springfield 0 @ Anchorage 4: Liam Beerman stopped all 32 shots fired in his direction as the Anchorage Wolverines finished thier sweep of Springfield and clinched a playoff spot in the process with a 4-0 win on Sunday. Oliver Salo had a goal and an assist while Camden Shasby, Bryce Monrean and Blake Markwell all lit the lamp as well. JJ Cataldo and Matt Schoephoerster combined to make 31 stops for Springfield in the loss.
Colorado 0 @ New Mexico 4: The Ice Wolves had a big first period and never looked back as they blanked the Grit 4-0. Olivier Lamothe, Rasmus Leijonhielm and Yusaku Ando all scored in the opening period for New Mexico. Ryan Seelinger would add a goal in the second period to increase the New Mexico lead. Jackson Fuller was perfect in goal as he stopped all 21 shots fired in his direction. Jack Erickson made 24 saves in the loss for Colorado.
