Nordiques move into 1st place with win

Maine goalie Adam Moller made 36 saves in a 5-1 win on Wednesday.

New Hampshire 1 @ Maine 5 – Five different players found the back of the net and goalie Adam Moller made 36 saves as the Nordiques moved into sole possession of 1st place in the East Division thanks to a 5-1 win at home over the visiting Mountain Kings.

The Nordiques held a 1-0 lead after the first 20 minutes of play as Laurent Trepanier netted his 5th goal of the season.

In the 2nd period, the Nordiques lead swelled to 3-0 as Nick Ramm and Tomek Haula found the back of the net.

In the 3rd period, the Nordiques put the game away with two more goals from Charles Tardif and Nils Forselius. Matthew Hale scored the lone goal for the Mountain Kings in the 3rd period.

Mountain Kings goalie Aiden Wright made 31 saves in the loss.
