The El Paso Rhinos of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects goaltender Nolan Suggs has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Adrian College.

Suggs, 20, just completed his second and final season playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 6’1/177 lbs. native of White Lake, Michigan, posted a .901 save percentage, a 3.35 goals against average, and a 11-28-3 record in 46 games with the Rhinos during the 2022-23 season.

He was also selected to and played in the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Central Division team where he stopped 44 of 49 shots in the event.

During the 2021-22 season, the goaltender tallied 25 wins, two shutouts, and a .928 save percentage with the Jamestown Rebels in the regular season.

Adrian College is a private United Methodist liberal arts college located in Adrian, Michigan. Last season, the Dawgs’ men’s hockey team advanced to the NCAA DIII National Championship game where they fell to Hobart College, 3-2, in overtime.

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Suggs spent the 2020-21 season playing in the NAPHL for the Meijer AAA 18U team. In 13 NAPHL games, he posted a 10-2-1 record with a 1.83 goals against average and a .931 save percentage.
