Aberdeen forward Casey makes NCAA commitment

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Michael Casey has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Endicott College. 

Casey, 20, joined the Wings joined the Wings just prior to the trade deadline. The 6'1/172 lbs. native of Media, PA finished with 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) in 29 games played for the Wings.

Prior to that he served as the captain of the Corpus Christi IceRays, where he had 22 points (8 goals, 14 assists) in 34 games played. He also played for the South Division in the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in February, getting an assist in 2 games played.

During the 2021-22 season, Casey appeared in 49 games with the IceRays and recorded 29 points. Overall in 110 career NAHL games, he recorded 62 points.

“Michael was a big piece of the Wings finishing in second place and making the playoffs in a highly competitive Central Division. Michael added a veteran presence with leadership once he arrived,” said Wings Head Coach & GM Scott Langer.

Endicott College is a NCAA Division III School located in Beverly, MA.  They play out of the Commonwealth Coast Conference.  They had an overall record of 23-3-2 with a conference record of 18-1-2 during the 22-23 season.  including a 6-0 win in the CCC Championship game over No.5 Curry.
