Fourteen former North American Hockey League (NAHL) players will compete for a NCAA Division I national championship this week, as Boston College (Hockey East), Miami University (CCHA), RIT (Atlantic Hockey) and the University of Wisconsin (WCHA) converge on Detroit’s Ford Field for the Frozen Four.

The Frozen Four begins on Thursday (April 8), with RIT playing Wisconsin (5 p.m. local time) and Boston College facing off against Miami (8:30 p.m.). The national championship game will be played on Saturday (April 10) at 7 p.m.
On Friday, the Hobey Baker Award winner will be announced. Wisconsin senior forward Blake Geoffrion, who played in the NAHL as a member of the U.S. National Program, is one of the three finalists.
