Dowd invited to Kings' Development Camp

July 3, 2009

Wenatchee Wild forward Nic Dowd was one of 29 prospects invited to the Los Angeles Kings’ Development Camp, which will be held from July 10-12 at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, Calif.

Recent Kings draft picks and free-agent signings will participate the camp, including some who have played in the NHL with the Kings.

Dowd was selected in the seventh round (198th overall) by Los Angeles in last weekend’s NHL Entry Draft.

Dowd, a St. Cloud State University (WCHA) recruit from Huntsville, Ala., scored 16 goals for 49 points in 43 regular-season games for the first-year Wild this past season.
