Fresno 1 @ Bismarck 2 – The Bobcats completed a weekend sweep of the Monsters thanks to a 35-save performance by goaltender Bryan Nies, as he allowed just a goal for the second straight night.  The Bobcats opened up a 1-0 lead in the 1st period thanks to a goal from Joseph Kaszupski.  Rory Vesel made it 2-0 with a power play goal early in the 3rd period.  Fresno clawed to within a goal as Mitchell Snyder lit the lamp, but that would be all the Monsters would get as they could not solve Nies for the majority of the weekend.  Boxscore

Corpus Christi 2 @ Wichita Falls 3 (SO) – For the second straight night, the Wildcats would need a shootout to top the Corpus Christi IceRays as on Saturday it was Colin Staub and Eliot Grauer scored in the shootout to give the ‘Cats the weekend sweep.  All the scoring in the game came in the 2nd period as Nick Farmer and Oliver Janzen scored for the Wildcats, while Perry D’Arrisso and Phil Pietroniro scored for the ‘Rays.  Evan Cowley notched his second straight win, making 30 saves, while Dillon Kelley was good in the loss, making 36 saves.
