Amarillo forward Jack Ivey makes NCAA DI commitment

The Amarillo Wranglers of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Jack Ivey has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Army-West Point.
Ivey, 18, is in his first season of playing in the NAHL and second season overall of playing junior hockey. The 6’3/185 lbs. native of San Diego, CA, is having a very successful campaign in 2022-23 as he currently ranks 6th in team scoring with 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists) in 32 games played to date.
“I am proud and excited to announce my commitment to play Division 1 hockey at Army West Point. I would like to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and friends who have supported me on my hockey journey,” said Ivey on social media.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Ivey played youth hockey for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks AAA program.
Ivey’s brother Ben, who also plays for the Wranglers, also made a commitment to Army earlier in the week.
