Amarillo forward Ben Ivey makes NCAA DI commitment

The Amarillo Wranglers of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Ben Ivey has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Army-West Point in Atlantic Hockey.
Ivey, 18, is in his first season of playing in the NAHL and second season overall of playing junior hockey. The 6’4/200 lbs. native of San Diego, CA, is having a very successful campaign in 2022-23 as he currently ranks 4th in team scoring with 16 points (5 goals, 11 assists) in 32 games played to date.
“Proud to announce my commitment to play Division 1 hockey at Army West Point. Would like to thank my parents, brothers, coaches, and teammates for supporting this journey. Honored to be a Black Knight,” said Ivey on social media.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Ivey played youth hockey for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks AAA program.
