Rebels top Jr. Hat Tricks in OT on Monday

Philadelphia 2 @ Danbury 1 (OT) – The Rebels moved to 4-0-1 in their last five games as the picked up a 2-1 overtime win in Danbury in the lone NAHL game on Monday.
After a scoreless 1st period, the Rebels got on the board first in the 2nd period as David Deputy scored his 9th goal of the season with an assist to Max Hamstad.
Danbury tied the game at 1-1 in the 3rd period as Jacob Roberson scored a shorthanded goal.
Just over a minute into overtime, the Rebels netted the game-winner as Greg Spitznagel popped home a rebound from his knees for his 4th goal of the season and 2-1 win.
Rebels goalie Jack Fialkoff made 21 saves in the win, while Jr. Hat Tricks goalie Matt O’Donnell made 20 saves in the loss.
