Former NAHL and Aberdeen forward Nathan Burke was named the CCHA Forward of the Week.

Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week: Joey Baez, F, Army West Point (Lone Star/Johnstown) - Army West Point sophomore Joey Baez scored a pair of power-play goals for Army in its 5-2 victory over Bentley on Friday. The Tampa, Fla., native tied the score at one with a one-timer before scoring the game-winning goal on the man-advantage in the third period for the Black Knights. Baez finished the weekend with nine shots on goal. This is his first career Atlantic Hockey weekly honor.

Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week: Max Itagaki, F, AIC (Janesville Jets) - Freshman forward Max Itagaki registered three assists in Army West Point's weekend home sweep of Bentley. All three of the Glenview, Ill., native’s, helpers came on the power-play. Itagaki extended his point streak to eight games with the weekend performance and ranks third in Atlantic Hockey with 11 assists, which also leads the Black Knights. This is his first career Atlantic Hockey weekly honor.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Nathan Burke, Bowling Green (Aberdeen Wings) - Burke led the CCHA in goals (3) and points (4) last week, helping Bowling Green to a split at Ferris State. He tallied two goals and an assist, including the game-winning marker, in the Falcons’ 6-0 victory on Friday, before netting the team’s only goal on Saturday. For the week, he was a +3 with a league-high 10 shots on goal.

CCHA Rookie of the Week: Kyle Kukkonen, Michigan Tech (Minot Minotauros) - Kukkonen helped Michigan Tech to a road sweep of St. Thomas last weekend, scoring two goals and adding an assist for three points. He netted two goals, including a power play tally and the eventual game-winning goal in Friday night’s 6-2 victory, before dishing out an assist on Saturday, as the Huskies won, 4-3. For the week, he was a +1 with seven shots on goal.
