Lone Star 2 @ El Paso 1 – The Brahmas pushed their winning streak to 10 straight games and moved their record to 12-1 overall as they came from behind to beat the Rhinos 2-1 on Saturday to complete a weekend road sweep. El Paso took a 1-0 lead in the 2^nd period thanks to a goal from Donovan O’Neil. In the 3^rd period, goals from Ryan Comishock and Mason Mara less than two minutes apart secured the comeback win for the Brahmas. Arthur Smith made 20 saves in the win, while Hunter Garvey made 31 saves in the loss.

Austin 3 @ Bismarck 2 (SO) – It took 16 combined players, but the Austin Bruins finally outlasted the Bismarck Bobcats 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday to complete a weekend road sweep. Trent Wiemken was solid again in goal for the Bruins, making 32 saves and stopping six of eight shooters in the shootout. Bismarck scored first on a goal from Drew Holt in the 1^st period. Austin had an answer as Walter Zacher scored to knot the game at 1-1. In the 2^nd period, the Bruins took their first lead as Ocean Wallace netted his first goal of the season. Bismarck would answer late in the 2^nd period on a goal from Vertti Jantunen. In the shootout, the deciding goal was scored by Austin’s Matthew Desiderio. Bobcats goalie CJ Kier made 33 saves in the loss.

Oklahoma 5 @ Corpus Christi 1 - The Oklahoma Warriors continued their strong start to the season by defeating the Corpus Christi IceRays 5-1 on Saturday. Malte Hasselgren registered a hat trick for the Warriors. Nick Comfort picked up a goal and two helpers while Blaise Miller added the other Oklahoma goal. Connor Brust picked up the lone goal for the IceRays in the loss. Cameron Korpi stopped 22 of 23 shots that he faced to earn the win in net. Thomas Kiesewetter turned aside 33 shots for the IceRays.

Wisconsin 0 @ Kenai River 5 – Nils Wallstrom stopped all 34 shots that came his way for his second shutout of the season as the Brown Bears widened their lead atop the Midwest Division thanks to a 5-0 win on Saturday, completing a weekend home sweep of the Windigo. Hayden Walters had two goals and an assist in the win and Bryce Monrean had two goals. Walters and Monrean both scored to give the Brown Bears a 2-0 lead through two periods. In the 3^rd period, Monrean and Walters both scored again and Owen Penny netted his first goal of the season to complete the 5-0 win. Wisconsin goalie Gavin Moffatt made 23 saves in the loss.

Danbury 3 @ Maine 6 - Henrik Hallberg notched a hat trick and Jonny Meiers picked up three helpers as the Maine Nordiques doubled up the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks by a score of 6-3. Anthony Achille had a goal and two assists for Maine while Patrick Schmiedlin and Oliver Genest each racked up a goal and an assist for the Nordiques. Miles Harrington had a two-point night for Danbury. Ryan Johnson and Nash Jacobsma also lit the lamp. Kael Depape stopped 19 shots in the win. Patriks Berzins stopped 38 saves in a losing effort for the Jr. Hat Tricks. 

Maryland 3 @ Johnstown 4 - The Johnstown Tomahawks pulled off a come-from-behind win on Saturday night over the first place Maryland Black Bears. After Dimitry Kebreau and Christian Catalano put Maryland up 2-0 just about nine minutes into action, the Tomahawks scored four consecutive goals en route to a 4-3 victory. Gabriel Lunn notched his first of the season in the second period to bring the Tomahawks within one. Then Will Lawrence, Drake Albers and Tyler Chenevert scored in a six minute span to give the Tomahawks the advantage on the scoreboard. Kaleb Tiessen would make things interesting late but Matt O’Donnell made 28 saves to preserve the victory for the home squad. Jack Wieneke made 15 saves in the loss for Maryland.

New Jersey 2 @ Philadelphia 5 - A four goal second period was the catalyst for the Philadelphia offense as they earned a weekend split with the New Jersey Titans, winning on Saturday night 5-2. Max Hamstad and Brogan Shea each had a goal and an assist to lead the Rebels. Brock Jones, Connor Sedlak and Matt Lewis also got on the scoresheet for Philadelphia. Robert Hyde and Ben Muthersbaugh both had a goal and an assist for the Titans. Jakub Krbecek earned the win in between the pipes for the Rebels making 28 saves. Jacob Torgner was dealt the loss despite making 27 stops. 

St. Cloud 3 @ North Iowa 1 - The St. Cloud Norsemen got back into the win column as they knocked off the North Iowa Bulls 3-1 in their lone game this weekend. Duke Kiffin got the scoring started with his first of the season to give the Norsemen a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes. Chase Cheslock added to the lead with his first of the year just under three minutes into the middle frame. Max Scott would strike on the power play for North Iowa early in the third to bring the Bulls within one but a late goal from Blake Perbix would seal the win for St. Cloud. Ethan Dahlmeir made 23 saves to pick up the win in the blue paint. Mitch Day turned aside 36 shots in the loss for the Bulls. 

New Mexico 4 @ Shreveport 3 - Will Howard logged a three point night with two goals and an assist as the New Mexico Ice Wolves edged the Shreveport Mudbugs 4-3. Sully Scholle grabbed a goal and an assist for New Mexico while JD Metz also visited the red light district. Kason Muscutt picked up a goal and an assist to lead the Mudbugs offense. Niklas Miller and Drake Morse also picked up tallies for the home club. William Craig stopped 35 shots to pick up the win in between the pipes for New Mexico. Simon Bucheler made 22 saves for Shreveport.

Springfield 0 @ Minnesota 2 - Isak Posch was a perfect 26 for 26 on Saturday night as his Minnesota Wilderness blanked the Springfield Jr. Blues 2-0 to earn a weekend split. Beau Danzig got the game’s first goal at the 2:31 mark of the opening period. He was set up by Noah Griswold and Reid Daavettila. The game would remain 1-0 until about midway through the final period, Oliver Stumpel added to the lead with his second goal of the season. Daavettila getting his second assist of the night while Gustav Ozolins also was credited with an apple. Carson Dorfman was solid in goal for Springfield, he made 32 stops for the Jr. Blues. 

Odessa 5 @ Amarillo 1 – Ryan Mansfield scored twice and Gergely Orosz made 39 saves as the Jackalopes salvaged a weekend split against the Wranglers thanks to a 5-1 win on Saturday in Amarillo. The Jackalopes jumped out to a 4-0 lead as John Wojciechowski and Trevor Mitchell found the back of the net in the 1^st period and Emerson Goode and Mansfield scoring in the 2^nd period. Amarillo got on the board later in the 2^nd period with their lone goal from Connor McNaughton. In the 3^rd period, Mansfield added his second goal to complete the 5-1 win.

Aberdeen 4 @ Minot 2 – For the second straight weekend, the Wings grabbed three of four points on the road as on Saturday, they beat the Minotauros in Minot 4-2 and came away with three points on the weekend. Cole Moore made 35 saves for the Wings in the win. Aberdeen jumped out to a 3-0 lead thanks to 1^st period goals from Landon Parker and Patrick O’Connell and a 2^nd period goal from Landry Schmuck. Minot mounted a comeback later in the 3^rd period with a pair of goals from Justin Dauphinais, but an empty-net goal from Alexander Gullichsen secured the win for the Wings. Minot goalie Lawton Zacher made 27 saves in the loss.

Janesville 5 @ Anchorage 2 – The Jets got two goals apiece from both Chris Pelosi and Connor Deturris in a 5-2 win in Anchorage on Saturday, taking 3 of 4 points in the series. The Jets jumped out to a 4-0 lead through two periods for the second straight game thanks to two goals from Pelosi, one from Deturris, and one from Gustav Portillo. Anchorage tried to mount a comeback in the 3^rd period with goals from Jackson Reineke and David Tolan, but Deturris’ second goal of the game secured the 5-2 win. Dylan Johnson made 28 saves in the win, while Shane Soderwall took the loss with 14 saves.

Chippewa 5 @ Fairbanks 2 – Kade Nielsen scored two goals to lead the Steel to a 5-2 win in Fairbanks to salvage a weekend road split of the series. The Steel led 1-0 after the 1^st period thanks to a goal from Kazumo Sasaki. The Ice Dogs took a 2-1 lead in the 2^nd period with goals from Billy Renfrew and Brady Welsch. It was all Steel after that as a goal from Sam Rice later in the 2^nd period tied the game at 2-2. In the 3^rd period, Nielsen scored twice and Matthew Brille added a goal to make it a 5-2 final. Adam Gajan made 22 saves in the win, while Kayden Hargraves made 41 saves in the loss.
