Generals run winning streak to five with win on Tuesday

Northeast Generals forward Andrew DellaDonna had a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win on Tuesday.

Danbury 2 @ Northeast 5 – Five different players scored as the red-hot Northeast Generals won their fifth straight game thanks to a 5-2 win over Danbury in the lone NAHL game on Tuesday.

After a scoreless 1st period, the Generals were first on the board in the 2nd period as David Andreychuk scored his 4th goal of the season. Danbury had a response later in the period as they took a 2-1 lead with goals from Robert Hyde and Logan Furstenau.

In the 3rd period, the Generals erupted for four goals, which included early strikes from Nick Ramm and Jared Scott to take a 3-2 lead and goals late in the game from Joseph McGraw and Andrew DellaDonna to secure the 5-2 win.

Cullen DeYoung posted his fourth straight win, making 23 saves, while Adam Johnson took the loss with 38 saves.
