Shreveport defenseman Hallard makes NCAA commitment

The Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman John Hallard has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Aurora University.
Hallard, 21, just completed his second season playing for the Mudbugs in the NAHL. The 5’11/185 lbs. native of Port Monmouth, NJ, had his career-best season in 2021-22, recording 17 points (3 goals, 14 assists) in 55 games played.
During the 2020-21 season, Hallard put up two points in 34 games played.
He also appeared in 14 career Robertson Cup Playoff games in two seasons.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Hallard played youth hockey for the North Jersey Avalanche.
