Maryland forward Brockman makes NCAA commitment

The Maryland Black Bears of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Jacob Brockman has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Aurora University.
Brockman, 21, just completed his first season playing in the NAHL and third season of junior hockey overall. The 6’2/174 lbs. native of El Segundo, CA, finished tied for 4th in team scoring during the 2021-22 regular season with 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) in 52 regular season games.
“Jacob came to the Black Bears last season and sparked the offense with his dazzling grit and determination. We're very excited to see his continued progression as a student athlete,” said Black Bears head coach Clint Mylymok.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Brockman played youth hockey for the LA Jr. Kings AAA organization and also spent two seasons playing junior hockey in Canada.
