Shreveport defenseman Green makes NCAA commitment

The Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Carter Green has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Green, 20, just completed his second full season playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 6’2/185 lbs. native of Aurora, IL, spent the 2021-22 season between the Mudbugs and the Kenai River Brown Bears.
Green began the season in Kenai River, appearing in 41 regular season games and recording 12 points (4 goals, 8 assists). He was then traded to Shreveport in early February before the deadline and put up six points in 22 games played.
During the 2020-21 season, Green played in 40 games for the Brown Bears and had six points.
In 13 career Robertson Cup Playoff games, he recorded three points.
