Aberdeen defenseman Barry makes NCAA commitment

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that defenseman Bauer Barry has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
Barry, 20, just completed his second season of junior hockey, which was spent between the NAHL and NA3HL.
The 5’10/185 lbs. native of Chaska, MN joined the Wings during the 2021-22 season after starting the year with the NA3HL’s New Ulm Steel. Barry appeared in 32 games wearing the Wings’ sweater. He recorded five assists with Aberdeen during the regular season and added an assist in the Wings’ playoff run.
During his time with New Ulm, Barry notched five goals and eleven assists in 17 games played, including two power play goals.
“I’m proud and honored to announce my commitment to continue my education and play Division III hockey at Concordia College,” he said. “I’d like to thank my parents, coaches and teammates who helped me along the way.”
“Concordia is getting a great human being and player in Bauer,” Wings head coach Steve Jennings said. “He’s absolutely a team-first player who will be great for them on and off the ice.”
