New Mexico forward Carroll makes NCAA commitment

The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Evan Carroll has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Trine University.
Carroll, 21, just completed his third full season playing in the NAHL. The 6’0/185 lbs. native of Flint, MI, put up 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists) in 32 games played during the 2021-22 regular season.
During the Ice Wolves run to the Robertson Cup Semi-Finals, Carroll posted three goals in 13 playoff games.
He was also selected to and played in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the South Division team.
Carroll spent the 2020-21 season with the Ice Wolves and Shreveport Mudbugs. He began the season in Shreveport, but was traded to New Mexico after four games. In 39 games between the two clubs, he recorded six points.
Carroll made his NAHL debut with the Amarillo Bulls on February 8, 2019, appearing in two games that season.
He spent the 2019-20 campaign with the Corpus Christi IceRays, putting up 18 points in 53 games played.
Overall in 126 career NAHL regular season games, Carroll recorded 38 points.
