Bismarck forward Pietila makes NCAA DI commitment

The Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Adam Pietila has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Northern Michigan Univeristy in the CCHA.
Pietila, 19, just completed his first season playing junior hockey in the NAHL for the Bobcats. The 6’0/190 lbs. native of Howell, MI, was tied for 6th in team scoring during his rookie season with 32 points (17 goals, 15 assists) in 60 games played.
Pietila also led all Bobcats players in scoring during the 2022 Robertson Cup Playoffs with four points in five games played.
“Excited and honored to announce my commitment to play Division 1 hockey at Northern Michigan University. Thank you to my family, friends, teammates and coaches who have supported me along the way. Go wildcats!” stated Pietila.
Prior to playing for the Bobcats, Pietila played high school hockey in Michigan for Heartland High and also played in the NAPHL Fall League for three seasons for the Michigan Hockey Advancement (MHA) 18U and 16U teams.
