Robertson Cup Semi-Final #2, Game 2: New Jersey 3 vs. New Mexico 2 (OT) (Series tied, 1-1) – New Jersey Titans forward Levente Keresztes scored with 3:50 to go in overtime to give the Titans a 3-2 win as they staved off elimination and forced a Game 3 in their best of three Semi-Final series against the New Mexico Ice Wolves. After a scoreless 1st period, the Titans were first to get on the board as Tommy Bannister scored a power play goal off a scramble in front to make it 1-0. The Ice Wolves responded later in the period as Sully Scholle got a pass in the low slot and fired home a shot for his 7th goal of the playoffs. New Jersey regained the lead early in the 3rd period as Bannister struck again with a laser of a snap shot, that eluded New Mexico goalie Beni Halasz over the blocker glove. Midway through the period, Grant Ellings scored his first of the playoffs as he streaked in down the right side and fired a pass over the shoulder of Titans goalie Andrew Takacs to tie the game at 2-2. After several chances in OT, the Titans found the game-winner off the stick of Keresztes, who got free next to the net and slipped a shot underneath Halasz for the Game 2 win.
