Fairbanks forward Malinowski makes NCAA DI commitment
The Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Alexander Malinowski has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for American International College in Atlantic Hockey.
Malinowski, 20, is in his first season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL and also North America.
The 5’11/180 lbs. native of Linkoping, Sweden, currently leads in the Ice Dogs in scoring and is tied for 4th among all NAHL players in scoring with 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists) in 29 games played so far this season.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Malinowski spent his entire youth career playing in Sweden. He made his junior hockey debut with Linkoping in the Swedish Super Elite League in 2018-19.
He also played for the Malmo Redhawks.
