NAHL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending October 18, 2020.  The Divisional Stars of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2020-21 regular season that honors the top performing players in each of the four NAHL divisions. Only players that are nominated by their respective teams are considered for the Divisional Players of the Week award.

Central Division Star of the Week: Jordan Randall, Forward, Aberdeen Wings

Aberdeen Wings veteran forward Jordan Randall, 20, came up big for the Wings in their weekend home-and-home sweep of the Bismarck Bobcats. The 6’0/197 lbs. native of native of Maple Grove, MN, and NAPHL grad had three points in the two wins, which included two goals and an assist. On Friday, he scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in a 6-4 road win in Bismarck. The next night, he had another game-winning goal in a 3-0 home win over the Bobcats. “Jordan’s play this past weekend is indicative of how hard he worked during the off-season. He has made himself a big part of our lineup, playing in all key situations. It is great to see a compete level like this early in the season, and we look forward to seeing what more Jordan will accomplish throughout the season,” said Wings head coach Scott Langer.

2nd Star: Joseph Harguindeguy, F, Minot Minotauros

East Division Star of the Week: Mark D’Agostino, Forward, Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks

Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks forward and UConn recruit Mark D’Agostino, 19, had a big night in his lone game of the weekend as he helped Danbury to a 3-2 road win in Northeast on Friday. The 6’0/175 lbs. native of North Brandford, CT, scored two goals, including the game-winner, in a 3-2 win. “Mark has been working extremely hard at making small adjustments to his game that provide us success at both ends of the rink. He has the ability to consistently be a threat offensively and his performance last game certainly showed that,” said Danbury head coach Billy McCreary
