The North American Hockey League (NAHL) continues a full slate of action this weekend with 22 games on Friday and Saturday, as more tickets to the Robertson Cup Playoffs are expected to be punched in the upcoming days.
 
Following the games on Saturday, 108 NAHL players and 26 head coaches will make their way to Attleboro, Massachusetts for the 2020 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, which takes place on February 17-18.
 
With four more NCAA commitments this week, the NAHL currently has an incredible 185 commitments during the 2019-20 season.

In the Central Division this weekend, the 2nd place Bismarck Bobcats put their five-game point streak on the line as they travel to Austin to take on the 3rd place Bruins, who are just three points back in the standings. The 1st place Aberdeen Wings, have a seven point lead atop the division and will travel to Cloquet to take on the Minnesota Wilderness, who are eight points out of the fourth and final playoff spot. That final playoff spot is occupied by Minot, who are in St. Cloud for two games as the Blizzard look to snap their six-game slide.
 
In the East Division this weekend, the 1st place New Jersey Titans are on the cusp of clinching a playoff spot as they put their four-game winning streak on the line at home against the Northeast Generals. The Jamestown Rebels are just two points out of the fourth and final playoff spot as they put their three-game winning streak on the line this weekend in Johnstown against the Tomahawks. The final series has the Maine Nordiques trying to get back into playoff position as they take to the road to face the 4th place Maryland Black Bears with the two teams separated by just three points. The WBS Knights are idle.
 
In the Midwest, the 1s place Fairbanks Ice Dogs get back into action as they put a 15-game point streak on the line with a game on Friday in Chippewa against the 3rd place Steel and then a game on Saturday against the Minnesota Magicians. The Steel will then travel to Janesville on Saturday for a lone game against the Jets. The other Midwest ream in action is Springfield, as they try and snap a five-game losing streak with a series in Topeka against the Pilots from the South. The Kenai River Brown Bears are idle this weekend.
 
In the South, it is a full slate of games as the Amarillo Bulls and Shreveport Mudbugs finish their two-game set on Friday after Shreveport came from behind on Thursday to win 6-4 and clinch a spot in the Robertson Cup Playoffs. In other action, the Lone Star Brahmas put their NAHL-high 14-game winning streak on the line this weekend with a home series against Corpus Christi. The final series has the Odessa Jackalopes in New Mexico to take on the Ice Wolves. Topeka will host Springfield as the Pilots are on the verge of clinching the fourth and final playoff spot in the South.
