Newcomers lead Magicians to 4-1 win on Thursday

TJ Sagissor had a goal in a 4-1 win on Thursday.

Springfield 1 @ MN Magicians 4 – In his first career NAHL start, Magicians goalie Dysen Skinner made 31 saves to lead the Magicians to a 4-1 win over the visiting Jr. Blues in the lone NAHL game on Thursday night. 
 
The Magicians got on the board early in the game as just over five minutes into the game Jake Seitz scored his 5th goal of the season.
 
After a scoreless 2nd period, the Jr. Blues tied the game early in the 3rd period on a goal from Leo Bacallao. However, less than two minutes after that, Devlin McCabe gave the Magicians the lead with his first career NAHL goal. Later in the 3rd period, TJ Sagissor scored his 5th goal of the season to make it 3-1. McCabe would add another goal late in the 3rd period to complete the 4-1 win.
 
Skinner, who was called up from the NA3HL’s North Iowa Bulls, picked up his first career NAHL win. Jr. Blues goalie Ryan Wilson made 29 saves in the loss.
