Saturday Scores: Ice Dogs sweep nets 400th win for Stewart

Jamestown Rebels forward Eric Olson had both game-winning goals in a weekend road sweep in Maryland.

MN Magicians 1 @ Fairbanks 3 - Mattias Sholl was incredible once again for Fairbanks as he allowed just one goal over the course of the entire weekend. He made 20 saves for his second win in as many days. The win was the 400th for Fairbanks head coach Trevor Stewart. Luke Ciolli scored on the power play to tie the game in the second period before Mason Plante gave the Ice Dogs their first lead of the game. Jack Johnston would score an empty net goal in the closing seconds for his 13th goal of the year. Robert Christy provided the only goal for the Magicians while Samuel Vyletelka made 33 saves in the loss. 
 
Jamestown 3 @ Maryland 1 - For the second straight night, the Jamestown Rebels defeated the Maryland Black Bears by a score of 3-1. Eric Olson potted a pair of goals while Spencer Cosway also lit the lamp for Jamestown. Noah West once again allowed just a single goal, this time making 34 saves. Mikhael Gonchar scored his first NAHL goal in the loss for Maryland while Cooper Black made 29 stops. 
 
Amarillo 9 @ Odessa 2 - The Amarillo Bulls continued their assault of the Odessa Jackalopes as they won on Saturday night 9-2. Aaron White led Amarillo with two goals and two assists. Jonathan Young had a goal and two assists while Adam Kolcon, Matt Allen, and Nick Trela all netted a goal and an assist. Oliver Bezick, Kyrre Hellerud and Nick Stapleton all notched goals as well for the Bulls. Max Gutjahr made 23 saves for Amarillo. Ben Thomas and John Serafin scored for the Jackalopes while Jaeger Reed made 40 saves.
 
MN Wilderness 3 @ Aberdeen 7 - The Aberdeen Wings completed the sweep of the Wilderness with another big offensive night as they scored a 7-3 win over Minnesota. Cooper Haar potted a pair of goals while Jake Beaune and Mack Byers each tallied a goal and an assist. Clayton Cosentino, Connor Beatty, and Zach Aughe all found the back of the net for Aberdeen. Jake Sibell turned aside 29 of 32 shots to pick up the win in net. Nate Horn and Nathan Adrian each had a goal and an assist for Minnesota. Jacob Herter also scored while Kaleb Johnson and Jonathan Mor teamed up to stop 40 shots. 
 
Springfield 3 @ Topeka 6 - Michael Muschitiello scored two goals to lead the Topeka offense in their 6-3 win over the Springfield Jr. Blues. Shawn Kennedy and Quinn Green each netted a goal and an assist in the win. Seth Benson and Kaiden Scott also lit the lamp for the Pilots. Josh Langford picked up the win in net, he made 19 saves. Leo Bacallo and Jayden Jensen each tallied a goal and an assist for the Jr. Blues. Adisen Brueck scored as well while Ryan Wilson made 20 saves. 
 
New Mexico 2 @ Shreveport 8 - Eight different Mudbugs found the back of the net as Shreveport routed New Mexico 8-2. Timofei Khokhlachev led all Mudbugs with three assists. Matt Weber, Jacob Smith, Carson Nichols, Dawson Sciarrino, Jack Smiley, Giovanni Procopio and Sam Miller all got on the scoresheet for Shreveport. Richie Parent only needed to make 17 saves as he was given plenty of goal support. Philip Ekberg scored his second goal of the weekend while Alex Dominique also chipped in a goal. Henrik Larusen and Josh Graziano combined to make 41 saves in the loss.
 
Janesville 1 @ Kenai River 8 - The Kenai River Brown Bears retained sole possession of first place in the Midwest Division after they grounded the Janesville Jets 8-1. Cody Moline and Peter Morgan each scored two goals and added two assists in the win. Max Helgeson also notched a pair of goals for Kenai River. Theo Thrun and Logan Ritchie each tallied a goal for the Brown Bears. Porter Schachle logged three assists while Danny Fraga made 33 saves to grab his second win of the year. Luke Wheeler potted the only goal for Janesville. Grant Riley and Edward Makar made 36 saves in a joint effort. 
 
Maine 5 @ Northeast 2 - Ethan Prout’s goal and two assists led the Maine offense in their 5-2 win over the Northeast Generals. Noah Kane and Alex Rivet chipped in a goal and an assist in the win as the Nordiques completed the sweep. Kevin Pitts and Trent Grimshaw also found the back of the net for Maine. Avery Sturtz got the win in goal, he made 34 saves. Liam McCanney and Joseph Mancuso scored for the Generals in the loss. Connor Bradford took the loss for Northeast, he made 28 saves.
 
New Jersey 4 @ Johnstown 2 - The New Jersey Titans salvaged a series split with the Johnstown Tomahawks as they won 4-2 on Saturday night. Cade Penny notched his first goal of the season while Matthew Iasenza, Kyle Jeffers and Mitch Machlitt all found the back of the net for the Titans. Patrick Pugliese denied 35 shots to pick up his 12th win of the year. Pavel Kharin and Carson Gallagher tallied goals for the Tomahawks in the loss. Alex Tracy made 21 saves.
 
Lone Star 2 @ Corpus Christi 0 - Ludvig Persson stopped all 24 shots fired in his direction to spoil Teddy Bear Toss night in Corpus Christi as the Lone Star Brahmas topped the IceRays 2-0. Matthew Rickard and Joey Baez netted the only two goals of the game. Cal Sandquist didn’t get any help on the scoreboard as he took the loss despite making 25 saves of his own.
 
Austin 5 @ St. Cloud 2 - Dante Sheriff led all skaters with three points as the Austin Bruins took care of the St. Cloud Blizzard 5-2. Peter Jacobs registered a pair of goals for the Bruins while Hugh Quinn and Hugh Larkin each got on the scoresheet in the win. Brett Miller needed to make just 19 saves to win his sixth game of the season. Logan Morrell scored his first NAHL goal for the Blizzard and Brady Bjork also netted a goal in the loss. Tyler Bost made 34 saves for St. Cloud.
 
Bismarck 2 @ Minot 5 - Cole O’Connell logged two goals and an assist as the Minot Minotauros split a weekend set with the Bismarck Bobcats by winning on Saturday night by a score of 5-2. Kyler Kleven also lit the lamp twice while Sam Skinner found the scoresheet once. Ben Garrity was sensational as he stopped 42 shots en route to winning his 11th game of the season. Austin Jouppi and Jack Olsen provided the offense for the Bobcats. Andrew Miller took the loss as he made 26 saves.
