Sunday Wrap-Up: Nordiques, Generals pick up rubber match wins

Joseph Mancuso had a goal in all three games this weekend against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights.

Jamestown 2 @ Maine 5 - Connor Androlewicz turned aside 28 of 30 Jamestown shots as the Maine Nordiques defeated the Rebels 5-2. Cannon Green led the Nordiques with a goal and an assist. Alex Rivet, Kevin Pitts, Trent Grimshaw and Stefan Owens all lit the lamp for Maine. Kasyn Kruse and Valeri Rykov netted goals for the Rebels.Noah West and Jon Howe combined to make 30 saves in the loss.
 
Northeast 4 @ Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 3 - Clark Kerner scored twice as the Northeast Generals won their second straight game over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. Jared Lambright and Joseph Mancuso also found the back of the net for the Generals. Joey Stanizzi picked up his second win in as many days as he made 33 saves. Liam Haslam and Lincoln Hatten each picked up a goal and an assist for the Knights while Tyrone Bronte tallied a goal. Alex Contey took the loss in net as he made 24 saves.
 
Lone Star 3 @ New Mexico 1 - After a pair of losses, the Lone Star Brahmas bounced back with a 3-1 win over the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Cole Beilke, Michal Stinil and Joey Baez lit the lamp for Lone Star. Ludvig Persson stopped 29 of 30 shots to earn the win in goal. Alex Dominique provided the only goal for the ice Wolves while Josh Graziano made 31 saves. 
 
Janesville 6 @ Kenai River 3 - Grant Hindman finished with a goal and three assists as the Janesville Jets avoided a sweep as they beat Kenai River 6-3. Isaac Novak potted a pair of goals while Nick Nardella and Max Klanow each had a goal and an assist. Jack Rhode also scored for the Jets. Grant Riley got the win in net as he made 34 saves. Theo Thrun led the Brown Bears with three points while Nate Thelen and Konner Lundeen also scored for Kenai River. Landon Pavlisin and Danny Fraga teamed up to make 31 saves.
