Wilderness forward Horn makes NCAA DI commitment

The Minnesota Wilderness of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce veteran Wilderness forward Nate Horn has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for the Air Force Academy.
Horn, 20, has played with the Wilderness in the NAHL for two seasons and was instrumental for the team in the 2018-19 season, putting up 42 points (14 goals, 28 assists) during the regular season.
Horn plans to play one more season with the Wilderness and will join the Air Force Academy for the 2020-21 season.
The 5’11/155 lbs. native of Elk River, Minnesota, has recorded 52 points in 98 games played during his two-year NAHL career.
“We are extremely happy for Nate. He epitomizes hard work and perseverance. As a result, he is actively achieving his goal of playing NCAA Division I hockey at one of the greatest institutions in the country. We wish him nothing but the best in his future there,” stated Wildernesss Head Coach Dave Boitz
Prior to playing in the NAHL for the Wilderness, Horn played three seasons of varsity hockey for for Elk River High in Minnesota.
