Johnstown forward Hale makes NCAA commitment

The Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward and assistant captain Mitchell Hale committed to SUNY-Plattsburgh.
Hale, 21, just finished his third season playing in the NAHL, which has all been spent with the Tomahawks. The 6’2/195 lbs. native of Buffalo, New York, recorded 25 points (13 goals, 12 assists) in 57 games played during the 2018-19 regular season.
He was also selected to and played in the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the East Division team.
Overall in his three-year NAHL career with Johnstown, Hale has recorded 61 points in 167 games played.
“Mitch was such an incredible part of our team for three seasons. His consistency, leadership, and hard-nosed play was such an asset for us and he will be truly missed here. We wish him nothing but the best as he brings his great style of play and personality to Plattsburg,” said Tomahawks head coach Mike Letizia.
SUNY Plattsburgh is an NCAA Division III school located in Plattsburgh, New York, and their team, the Cardinals, play in the State University of New York Athletic Conference.
