The Philadelphia Rebels, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that goaltender Eli Billing has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Pointers who play in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). His commitment begins in the fall of September 2018.

Billing, 20, appeared in twenty-seven games for the Rebels this past season. He had a 15-8-0-1-1 record. The 5’10/180 lbs. native of Tecumseh, Ontario had a 2.44 goals against average and a .908 save percentage with three shutouts.

"I’m excited to announce my commitment to play college hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point,” stated Billing. “I would like to thank everyone who helped me along the way,” concluded Billing.

“I am happy for Eli," stated Rebels head coach Joe Coombs. “He is a great person and teammate. The Pointers are getting a quality goalie and even better person,” concluded Coombs.

Located in Stevens-Point, WI, the Pointers finished the season with a 21-6-3 record, their fifth straight season with twenty or more wins. UWSP advanced to the NCAA D3 National semi-finals.
