Northeast Generals defenseman Harrington makes NCAA commitment

May 3, 2018
The Northeast Generals of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Pat Harrington has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for UMass-Boston.

Harrington, 19, played in 52 games for the Generals during the 2017-18 regular season, recording one goal and 13 assists for 14 points.

The 5’10/190 lbs. native of Stoneham, Massachusetts, is the 10th Generals player this season who has made an NCAA commitment.

“We are extremely excited for Pat.  He did such a great job for us this year on and off the ice.  He is one of those kids with an infectious personality.  He is just always so upbeat and positive it’s contagious.  Not only that but he is such an elite skater and has the ability to be a weapon offensively. UMass-Boston got not only a great kid today but a really good hockey player,” said Generals GM Bryan Erikson.
