NAHL announces Beauty Status Flow of the Month winner for December
The holidays are a wonderful time of year. There are stockings hung by the chimney with care, a Yule log crackling in the fire, snow gently falling on Christmas Eve, and flows abounding everywhere.
December is a fun time in the NAHL as players have had plenty of time to grow some serious salad and as we get into the heart of the season, the hair becomes part of the daily uniform.
Our new partner this season for Flow of the Month is Beauty Status Hockey Co. On September 13th, Beauty Status was named as the Official Hockey Apparel Company of the NAHL for the 2017-18 season.

Players in the NAHL and NA3HL were encouraged to submit photos of their best ‘hockey hair’ or ‘flow’ via social media or email by the end of the month.
The winner for December is Johnstown Tomahawks goaltender Britt League.
League, 18, is in his second season playing junior hockey, which has been spent between the NAHL and USHL. The 6’0/165 lbs. native of Chesapeake, Virginia, has posted a 2-5-2 record to date in 11 appearances with Johnstown, which includes a 3.47 goals against average and a 88.9% save percentage. In 16 career NAHL games, League has a 6-5-3 record with a 3.24 goals against average and a 89.6% save percentage.
Score one for Thor in the hair category for League. He has got some amazing blonde locks. As they say… length is strength. Back in the day, men with a full head of hair were considered strong and powerful. Just like a male lion with his mane. So fast forward to today with League carrying on that transition, which hopefully translates into success for the rest of the season for he and his teammates.

To enter the contest for the month of January, submit your best #FlowoftheMonth pictures by January 31st to @NAHLHockey and @BeautyStatusHky. A winner from each league will be selected by February 1st. Winners will receive a Beauty Status hat.
