Three grads named to AHL All-Star Classic

Three former North American Hockey League (NAHL) players - all of whom played in the league as members of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program - were named to the American Hockey League (AHL) All-Star Classic, which will take place Jan. 30-31 Hershey, Pa.

Kyle Palmieri, a forward for the AHL's Syracuse Crunch who played in the NAHL from 2007-09, and Rhett Rakhshani, a forward for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers who toiled in the NAHL from 2004-06, were named to the Eastern Conference team.

Forward Ryan Stoa, a forward for the Lake Erie Monsters who played in the NAHL from 2003-05, was named to the Western Conference squad.
