Minot's Maysa Arena moves into final four of Hockeyville USA

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is pleased to announce that the Minot Minotauros and Maysa Arena has advanced to the final four arenas in the nationwide 2016 Kraft Hockeyville USA competition.
The arena is now guaranteed at least $25,000 for facility upgrades, and could win as much as $150,000, and possibly host a televised National Hockey League preseason game.
The other three finalists are the Rushmore Thunderdome in Rapid City, SD, the Twin Ponds East Arena in Harrisburg, Penn., and the Lakeview Arena in Marquette, Mich. Maysa Arena will compete against the Rushmore Thunderdome, and the winner will face off with the winner of the other two arenas for the crown.
Voting ends at the end of the day on April 20th and Kraft will announce a winner on April 30th.

The money will go towards upgrades for the existing facility, but not for the third ice rink currently under construction.
Maysa Arena, which opened in 2000, plays home to the Minot Minotauros of the NAHL, as well as, the Minot State Beavers club hockey team, along with several other teams and organizations.
Last season, the Cambria County War Memorial Arena and Johnstown, Pennsylvania, home to the NAHL’s Johnstown Tomahawks, were crowned the winners of the first ever Kraft Hockeyville™ USA contest.
