Former NAHLer Hayes wins title with Boston College

April 10, 2010

Boston College (Hockey East) sophomore forward Jimmy Hayes, who played in the NAHL as a member of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program from 2006-08, celebrated an NCAA Division I national title after the Eagles’ 5-0 shutout victory over the University of Wisconsin (WCHA) in Saturday's championship game.

Hayes assisted on BC's third goal against the Badgers.

Hayes, from Boston, was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft (60th overall).
