NAHL Midget Showcase field announced

FRISCO, TEXAS - The North American Hockey League announced today the field for the NAHL Midget Showcase, which will be held Sept. 20-24, 2007 in conjunction with the fifth-annual NAHL Showcase at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minn.

"Because of the overwhelming response from applicants to our Midget Showcase, we've been able to assemble one of the most competitive events in the country," said NAHL commissioner Mark Frankenfeld.

The qualifying teams - 20 in the Midget Major division (U18) and 10 in the Midget Minor (U16) - are listed alphabetically below.

Any team that applied for the NAHL Midget Showcase but did not qualify will remain on the waiting list, have its application fee refunded, and/or have its application transferred to the second NAHL Midget Showcase Series event, which has been scheduled for Dec. 13-16, 2007 at The Summit Center in Chesterfield, Mo., home of the NAHL's St. Louis Bandits.
