Chill pick up valuable points in win over Wilderness

Coulee Region Chill 3 @ Minnesota Wilderness 2 – The Coulee Region Chill jumped out to an early 2-0 and withstood a Wilderness comeback to earn a valuable two points to move into a 3rd place tie in the Midwest Division with a 3-2 road win in Cloquet over the Wilderness.
 
Scoring came early and often in the 1st period. Coulee Region jumped out to a 2-0 lead in just 1:32 into the game as Mac Jansen and Cam Bleck scored :43 seconds apart. The Wilderness would answer with back-to-back goals courtesy of Eric Brenk who provided all the Wilderness offense on the night.
 
The difference maker and game-winner came late in the 2nd period off the stick of Adam Lovick. Chill goalie Adam Carlson held the fort the rest of the way, making 22 saves. Kasimir Kaskisuo took the loss making 17 saves. Billy Exell picked up a pair of assists in the losing effort.
