The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that goaltender Jeremy Forman has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for the University of New Hampshire in Hockey East.
Forman, 20, put up some solid numbers in his final season of junior hockey.
The 5’10/165 native of Northbrook, Illinois, appeared in 27 games during the 2019-20 season and posted a 8-12-3 record with a 2.70 goals against average and a .906 save percentage. Forman also had two shutouts.
Forman was featured in the NAHL's 50 in 50 series back on March 30th.
“The IceRays family is very excited for Jeremy to start his next chapter at the University of New Hampshire. New Hampshire is a great program with a lot of history. With Jeremy’s dedication to the game, what he can provide a program and his academic achievements, Jeremy will be a great addition to their program,” said IceRays head coach Nate Weossner.
This season was Forman’s second pass through the NAHL. He made his NAHL debut during the 2017-18 season with the Brookings Blizzard. During that season, he posted a 3-2-0 record with the Blizzard.
