Eagles, Chill and Wings all win on Thursday

Soo Eagles 3 @ Johnstown Tomahawks 0 – Former Tomahawks goaltender Colin Brennan got some revenge on his old club on Thursday night as he posted his first shutout of the season, helping the Soo Eagles to a 3-0 road win over the Tomahawks. Brennan stopped all 19 shots that came his way. The Eagles had a balanced offensive attack that struck for a goal in each period. AJ Jarosz scored in the 1st period, Mike Sabatini struck in the 2nd period and Jacob McDowell added a 3rd period tally. Alex Okicki made 20 saves in the loss for Johnstown. Boxscore
Janesville Jets 3 @ Coulee Region Chill 6 – Mac Jansen continued his hot play with a four point night, which included a hat-trick as the Chill doubled up the Jets in a Thursday night home game, 6-3. It was the Jets who scored first on a goal from Adam Winborg. Sean Kalbak answered for the Chill to tie the game at 1-1 after one period. Then Jansen scored all three of his goals in the 2nd period to push the Chill lead to 4-2. Michael Louria had the Jets goal. After Jordan Himley brought the Jets to within 4-3 late in the 3rd period, Jesse Tredinnick scored two empty-net goals in a :21 second span to put the game on ice for Coulee Region. Boxscore
