Former Fargo-Moorhead Jets forward Chris Connolly, 20, has verbally committed to Boston University for the 2008-09 season.
"Chris has paid his dues and is getting what he deserves by attending a perennial powerhouse at Boston University," said Jets coach Chad Johnson.
In two seasons with the Jets, the Duluth native finished with 149 points (39 goals) in 134 total games, including the playoffs. He finished eighth in NAHL scoring last year with 76 points.
"When he was here, he was an exceptionally skilled player who wasn't one dimensional for us," Johnson added.
