Philadelphia 5 @ New Jersey 1 - The Philadelphia Rebels picked up their first win of the season Wednesday afternoon against the New Jersey Titans. The midweek contest started with both teams finding the back of the net within less than a minute of each other during 4-on-4 hockey. Dylan Moran opened the scoring for the Rebels midway through the first frame before the Titans responded seconds later, with Ryder O’Neil grabbing his third goal of the season. The teams traded shots for the remainder of the period, and it looked like the teams would head to the locker room tied until Zach Greenlund wrapped around to give the Rebels the advantage with less than a minute in the frame. Philadelphia extended its lead in the second frame, with Marshall Swanson scoring within the first minute of the frame. Gavin Wakeland added another goal to bring the score to 4-1 heading into the third. Paxton Couture rounded out the scoring, finding the back of the net to secure the Rebels' 5-1 victory. The Rebels and Titans were nearly even in shots on goal, with Philadelphia holding a 30-29 advantage. Mathieu Raymond was between the pipes for Philadelphia, stopping 28 of the 29 shots for a .966 save percentage.
