Scott Langer holds the title of winningest coach of the NAHL, but it is because of his proven track record of placing athletes in the NCAA ranks. As he enters year 10 behind the bench for the Wings, he talks more about the type of athlete the NAHL produces and why those athletes find success at the next level.
“I think at the end of the day, that's why our league ends up putting players in college hockey because these guys are just workers. They just want to [achieve their] dreams and goals, and they know people have stepped over them in the past. We're here to give them the opportunity to be something special that other people didn't think that they were. There's a lot of success stories that come out of our league, and it has everything to do with the type of players that we get.”
With a determination to lift the Robertson Cup once again, Scott Langer talks more about the team’s goals ahead of the 2026-27 season. He shares more on how his organization looks to achieve those goals and how they will do it.
