This tournament is one of hockey’s most prominent and popular events for the entire season and has become known as the “Greatest Show on Ice.” Having every NAHL team in the building for scouts across the country to come watch the league’s athletes have become a cornerstone for the hockey scouting community. The yearly event brings together every NCAA program and NHL team for their first look at some of the best and brightest hockey talent North America has to offer.
“Everyone looks forward to the ‘Greatest Show On Ice’ where so many great players get to compete in front of so many NCAA coaches and NHL scouts," said NAHL Commissioner and President Mark Frankenfeld. “The competition and skill is very high, players will earn commitments during the event or get placed on a ‘must watch list’. With so much hockey under one roof, the NAHL Showcase truly earns its reputation as the Greatest Show on Ice."
