The Elmira Aviators of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that goaltender Aiden McKenna has committed to play NCAA hockey for Oswego State in the SUNYAC.

The 6-foot-3 netminder from the Empire State, McKenna, will stay in his home state to play for the Lakers in the fall. McKenna wrapped up his 2025-26 campaign with the Elmira Aviators, playing 39 games in net for the East Division club. The ‘06 goaltender recorded 14 victories in the blue paint, making 1164 saves in the regular season. McKenna featured a .908 save percentage, facing 33 shots on average each game. His best performance between the pipes came against the Maryland Black Bears in February, where he turned aside 46 out of 50 shots in net, lifting his team to a victory against the East Division leaders.

The Rochester, New York, native got his first taste of the League of Opportunity with the Northeast Generals in the 2024-25 season. He played between the pipes in seven contests, recording a .891 save percentage and a 3.18 goals-against average with the East Division club.

McKenna is one of 11 members of the Elmira Aviators to make an NCAA ice hockey commitment.
