Shreveport Forward Wolf-Taulbee makes NCAA Commitment
The Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Liam Wolf-Taulbee has committed to play NCAA hockey for Trine University in the NCHA.
The 6-foot forward from Charlotte, North Carolina, Wolf-Taulbee will join the Trine Thunder this upcoming fall. The 21-year-old just wrapped up his age-out season with the Mudbugs. Wolf-Taulbee laced up just one game shy of every regular season contest, playing 58 games for Shreveport. The North Carolina native scored nine goals and made 16 assists during the regular season, recording 25 points for the South Division team. In addition to his scoring ways, two of his tallies were made in game-winning fashion. In the postseason, Wolf-Taulbee played in all five playoff games for the Mudbugs.
This upcoming fall, Wolf-Taulbee will not be the only Mudbug on the Trine Thunder roster. He will head to Indiana with his Shreveport teammates, Evan Adams and Vinny Diiulio.
Wolf-Taulbee is one of seven members of the Shreveport Mudbugs to make a college ice hockey commitment.
