New Hampshire Forward Hill makes NCAA Commitment

The New Hampshire Mountain Kings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Ronnie Hill has committed to play NCAA hockey for the University of the New England in the CNE.

The 19-year-old from Saco, Maine, Hill will go to skate for the Nor’easters in his home state this upcoming season. The 5-foot-9 forward is a second-year NAHL veteran, skating in 117 games over the two seasons. Hill started his 2025-26 campaign with the Wisconsin Windigo, skating in 25 games with the Midwest Division team. The ‘06 forward recorded six goals and six assists. One of his tallies was scored in deciding fashion, and four goals were scored on the man advantage.

Following the first-half of the season, Hill was acquired by the New Hampshire Mountain Kings, lacing up in 29 contests for the East Division team. The 19-year-old logged 23 points, scoring nine goals while producing 14 assists. Hill scored two game-winning goals and one power-play tally for the Mountain Kings.

In Hill’s rookie season in the League of Opportunity, the ‘06 forward was drafted by the Wisconsin Windigo in the third round of the 2024 NAHL Entry Draft. He played in 63 games for the Midwest Division team, lighting the lamp 16 times while producing 21 assists for the Windigo. He recorded 37 points in his debut year. Four of his tallies were notched in game-winning fashion while one goal was notched on the man advantage.

The University of New England has been a program that has had continued success in college hockey. In the last five seasons, the Nor’easters have made four NCAA Tournament appearances as a program.

Hill is one of 12 members of the New Hampshire Mountain Kings to make a college ice hockey commitment.
