New Hampshire Captain Cacciarelli makes NCAA Commitment

The New Hampshire Mountain Kings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Rogerio Cacciarelli has committed to play NCAA hockey for Endicott College in the CNE.

The 6-foot-2 blueliner from the Golden State, Cacciarelli will join the Gulls in the fall. Cacciarelli is a second-year veteran of the Mountain Kings. This past season he served as the captain of the team. During his 2025-26 campaign, the 21-year-old laced up in 47 contests for New Hampshire, registering 21 points from the blue line. He tallied nine goals while making 12 assists for the East Division team. In addition, he scored his first game-winning goal while playing in the League of Opportunity and secured four power-play tallies with the team. His work on the ice earned him the recognition as a Top Prospect for the 2026 Top Prospects Tournament. He laced up for the East Division team at the 2026 tournament. 

In his debut season in the NAHL, Cacciarelli played in 59 games total for the Mountain Kings. The future Gull produced 26 points in that span, scoring six goals while making 20 assists. He featured a +8 rating on the ice. The California native was drafted in the 2024 NAHL Entry Draft by New Hampshire. He was taken in the second round, 49th overall. 

Cacciarelli is one of 10 members of the New Hampshire Mountain Kings to make a college ice hockey commitment.
