Johnstown Captain Jarmain makes NCAA Commitment
The Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Nick Jarmain has committed to play NCAA hockey for Bowdoin College in the NESCAC.
The 5-foot-11 righty from the Garden State, Jarmain, will head to Brunswick, Maine, to skate with the Polar Bears in the fall. Jarmain is a second-year veteran of the Tomahawks, skating over 100 games in the Johnstown sweater. This season, the 20-year-old has laced up in 39 contests for Johnstown, tallying a team-leading 22 goals while notching 17 assists. The captain also leads his team with 39 total points on the season. Jarmain has been clutch on the ice for his team, securing five game-winning goals this season. In addition, the Moorestown, New Jersey native spotlights a team-leading +16 rating on the year. His offensive production has earned him the honor of East Division Star of the Week on September 22, 2025.
Last season, Jarmain hit the ice and played in 64 games for the Tomahawks. He scored nine goals and made 13 assists in his first year playing in the League of Opportunity. For his career, he has tallied 31 goals, 30 assists, and 61 total points.
